The jumper positions for the built in buzzer on the RTE-EES

This article shows you the jumper positions for the built in buzzer on the RTE-EES.

A built in buzzer can be used to indicate that the release is not powered i.e. the door is open. The buzzer will sound all the time that power is not applied to the release. This function is disabled by default.

To enable the buzzer function, all you have to do is fit the jumper across the two pins.

Please note, the the first time the 12V DC supply is applied to the device, the timer circuit may trigger causing the buzzer to activate. In this case the buzzer will stop after the default time of one minute.
