How to fix Passansoft that is unable to open after a Windows Update

If you see this message


This issue is due to an incompatible Firebird Database with Windows or Firebird is no longer on your PC/Laptop.

If you do not have PassanSoft v2.29 you will need to purchase a copy (https://urmet.co.uk/product/passansoft-software/)

1. Delete all versions of Firebird from PC

2. Uninstall PassanSoft

3. Reinstall PassanSoft v2.29 (This will install a compatible version of Firebird) 

4. Once you have re-opened the software click the button update computer, 

this will download all data from controller to your PC) 

DO NOT CLICK UPDATE SITE THIS WILL ERASE THE DATABASE FROM THE PASSAN CONTROLLER
