Installer Tool Basic System Parameters

This article covers the 3 basic system parameters which you need to set as part of your initial site configuration when creating a new IPerCom site, using the IPerCom Installer Tool software.

Time Zone

This setting should match the time zone that you set along with the rest of your new site details (e.g. Europe/London).

Addressing Type

You can choose from the 4 different addressing types:

1. Topologic addressing - this type of addressing is never used.
2. Numeric addressing - choose this if the postal addresses are only numbers (e.g.,1,2,3 or 100,101,102 etc.).
3. Logic addressing - choose this if the postal addresses consist of letters and numbers (e.g., 1A, 1B, 1C or 10A, 10B, 10C etc.).
4. Block Mode - choose this if you have multiple networked blocks with Main and Secondary entrances.
