      How to factory reset a 1156/10 keypad

      This article outlines how to perform a factory reset of configuration and the clearing of all codes for a 1156/10 keypad.

       

      Instructions:

      • Disconnect the power supply
      • Press the password button on the rear of the keypad 
      • Keeping the button pressed, reconnect the power supply 
      • (The password button must be kept pressed until the module gives 3 confirming beeps) 
      • When you release the password button the keypad is now reset
