      How to Fix a 1183/7 Miro Audio Handsfree Automatically Opening the Door When Called

      Use this article to turn off the automatic door opening function on the 1183/7 Miro Audio Handsfree.

      Why does it do this?

      There is a setting for the 1750/6 Miro which means that the door will open as soon as the device has been called, without the user needing to answer or press the door open button.

       

      How to tell if Automatic Door Open Function is On

      If the LED at the bottom of the monitor is flashing green, then the automatic door open function has been activated.

       

      How do I turn this off?

      1. Press the button with one dot next to it for 5 seconds to enter programming mode.

      2. The LED should now flash yellow.

      3. Press once the button with the 'key' symbol (see image below).

      4. Press the button with one dot next to it for 5 seconds to exit programming mode.

      5. The LED should not be lit.
