      How to make an 1130/11 unit ring

      This article shows how to make a new 1130/11 unit ring if it is replacing a faulty handset.

       

      If you have a faulty handset that you are replacing with a new 1130/11 and you have issue with the new unit not ringing please ensure that you have connected as per the diagram below:

       

       

      If you have connected correctly proceed: 
      1. Disconnect RZ
      2. Get a colleague to press the call button outside (Keep it pressed until finished)
      3. Test voltage on the end of the RZ wire and on terminal No.6

       

      NOTE: If you do not have 12-18vAC on between the RZ wire and No. 6 terminal, the fault is not with the handset.
