How to upgrade a Castel Xellip 2 intercom

In this article, we take you through the step-by-step process on how to upgrade your Castel Xellip 2 intercom from setup to completion.

The station’s firmware is upgraded via the Maintenance, Update pages.

Be safe, backup the configuration prior to firmware upgrade

Drag & Drop file from the PC, to upload to the device:

Please take note of the following things at this point:

The upgrade will take 30 minutes, please be patient.
DO NOT power down the station at any point.
Always upgrade a station's firmware via a local switch, NOT over the live network.
If the network drops mid upgrade, this can KILL the station.

When finished, the station will reboot.

Please note: this can take a couple minutes

Now log back into the station and check that the firmware is the latest version.
