How to Wire a Door Locking Device into an Easy Door Controller

This article shows you how to connect a door locking device into an Easy Door controller.

 

The lock output from the Easy Door controller is by means of a volt free relay with Common (C) Normally Closed (NC) and Normally Open (NO) connections.

A suppression device must be fitted as close to the lock as possible, across the lock connections, to eliminate back EMF. 

 

If a suppression device is not fitted the controller may be irreparably damaged.
