Fixing Timing Restriction Apply error on IPerVoice Door Controllers

This article shows you how to fix the Timing restriction apply error on IPerVoice Door Controllers.

There are two methods which you can use to overcome this issue. We have outlined both for you within this article.

Step 1:
First, check there is no Tamper Alarm on the Controller by performing a log search.

Step 2:

Then, clear the tamper alarm - there is a micro switch on the door controller which needs to be pressed and held down by the cover.

Please note: If the cover is not in place then ensure the switch is taped down.

Step 3:
Navigate to the door controller and check that the Forbid access with tamper alarm active box is not selected.

Please note: If this is set correctly then try to Reload Config and do a Reboot.

If this has not yet resolved the issue, we would recommend that the door controllers are at the latest Firmware.

This error can be an issue with Firmware in the IP module, and if already at the latest firmware, a reload of the firmware may clear the issue.
