How to add a device to IPerVoice using a MAC address

This article shows you how to check your network settings to enable you to add a new device to your IPerVoice system, and how to add a new device using the Mac address of the device.

If you have connected a new device to an IPerVoice system and it does not appear under New devices, the DHCP may be blocked on the server network settings.This is always recommended when the system has moved from installation to working phase.

Please be patient as some devices will need to do a firmware upgrade which can take up to 20 minutes. However, devices that do not need to update should appear straight away, reporting an IP address in the correct range and the firmware of the device.
