The limits and basic fault finding tips for a 1039/20 IPerVoice Riser PSU

This article provides you with some basic fault finding tips for the 1039/20 Power Supply.

Features:

• 230vAC required
• Output 54V DC 650mA 55 Watt
• Thermally fused
• Voltage test terminals
• Video level adjustment (see page 5 of the installation manual attached)

Riser Limits:

• When used with Signo audio handsets, Signo video monitors or Imago video monitors the maximum number of 4-way Decoders is thirty (120 monitors/handsets).
• When used with Folio and Aiko video monitors the maximum number of 4-way Decoders is ten (40 monitors/handsets).
• There is a 90 meter limit between the Power Supply Unit and the furthest monitor.
• Maximum 9 x Power Supply Unit per riser

Basic Faulting Finding:

• Check with a Multi-meter there is correct 230vAC on the input if no voltage check the fused spur
• Check with a Multi-meter there is 54vDC voltage on the output if no voltage remove output wait 2 minutes for the thermal fuse to cool.
• Retest after 2 minutes if still no voltage and 230vAC is present change the unit, there is no programming required for this unit.
