What are the 2Voice Android app settings?

This article explains the 2Voice Android app settings which need to be configured when programming your 2Voice entry panels.

Use the table below to learn more about some of the key settings you'll need to adjust.

Code Type This is used when creating an Entry Panel Database. If you've logically addressed your system, make sure this is selected as 'logical'.
Day and Hour This is used to determine the time slots during which the postman function is activated (e.g,. when the postman can gain access). Otherwise you do not need to set these parameters.
Module Type Select primary or secondary module. All system users may be called from the primary module. A secondary module may only call the users of the riser to which it belongs. Users who receive the call can identify the source of the call by the tone. Two secondary calling stations may be present in a riser and must have a different address (secondary 0 or 1).
Busy Time Time after which the current call may be interrupted by other calls. The same busy time must be programmed for all the calling modules within the system.
Multi Touch Call Column This parameter defines where to route the call generated by pressing at least three buttons at the same time (Multi touch call) if the system is not provided with a concierge switchboard or if this is present but configured in NIGHT mode. This must be a physical code if the parameter is programmed.
Door Opener

The door unit lock release type and lock output activation time.

Secret: pressing the door opener button on an apartment station will activate the door unit output only after having received a call or during a conversation or following auto-on if a video connection has been established.

Free: pressing the door opening button on an apartment station will activate the door unit output only if the door unit is configured as primary station or if the user and the secondary door unit belong to the same riser.

Door Opener Time The release time of the door. If the time is set at 0 seconds, the opening of the door is disabled. It is not possible to program both the opening times of door opener 1 and of door opener 2 at 0 seconds.
Password Four-digit password for accessing the calling module programming mode. We'll go through this within the next part of this lesson.
