What are the 4 different Sytem Types?
This article covers the 4 different system types to choose from within the IPerCom Installer Tool, used when setting up an IPerCom system.
Villa Kit (house) This is used for a single dwelling (one-household) that can typically use a single button entry panel calling multiple monitors. However, this can have additional entry panels added if required. |
Single Stair This is used when all the apartments need to be called by the same Call Modules with no separation. For example, one or more entry panels calling a number of apartments in the same block. |
Multiple Stairs This is used when there is a need for the apartment to be called from different Call Modules, but the dialing codes are different. For example, one or more entry panels calling a number of apartments in the same block in different risers (stairs). |
Multi-Block Similar to multiple stairs although this is used when the dialing codes are duplicated. A maximum of 99 blocks can be used, with each block having any number of panels. |
Please note, when using the IPerCom Installer Tool to set up your site, you can set up what you need for now (i.e., if you’re only configuring 1 stair for now, you can click ‘Single Stair’ as the system type), and then change it to a different type later if need be.
