      How to Reset the IPassan Controller

      Use this article to learn how to reset an IPassan 4 Door Base Controller.

       

      The process is the following:

      1. Down Power the Controller

      2. Move the Maintenance Link to Maintenance Mode

      3. Power up the Controller

      4. As soon as you see the system led on:

        - Remove the Link, restore the link to maintenance mode and remove one last time.

       

      To recap - the link is on-off-on-off within a couple of seconds. The system led flashes quickly while erasing the database, then flashes once every two secs. If the LED does not flash rapidly, it has not been success.
