| Step 1 | Present a ‘Master’ token to the reader for 5 seconds until the reader LED stops flashing and stays solid red. |
| Step 2 | Present the ‘Resident’ token to the reader, the reader LED will briefly change from solid red to green then back to solid red. |
| Step 3 | Continue to present ‘Resident’ tokens to the reader. Each time a new token is presented, the LED will change from solid red to green then back to solid red. |
| Step 4 | To exit programming, present the ‘Master’ token again to the reader and the LED on the reader will turn off and the system will return to normal operating mode |
