How to set the Transfer option in IPassan Manager

This article shows you how to set the Transfer option in IPassan Manager.

 

Underneath ‘Transfer Mode’ is the ‘Transfer Option’ section - there are 2 options here:

  1. Check the Transfer Date
  2. Transfer data through UTF-8 encoding

 

The Check the transfer date checkbox is crucial, this prevents an older database on the PC from overwriting a later database in the controllers therefore to keep your site up to date with the correct information, make sure this box is ticked.

 

 

Note: The option to ‘transfer data through UTF-8 encoding’ should not be ticked, as it can cause restrictions when backing up your database.
