      How to prepare before installing a new IPassan system

      This article will outline the 3 steps you need to follow before getting started with the IPassan Manager software.

        1. Make a note of the unique reference numbers on one of your 4 Door Base Controllers. Use the article below if you're not sure where this is:

        2. Set each 4 Door Base Controller in ‘Maintenance Mode’ and test all readers, electric releases, exit switches etc. Use the article below if you're not sure where this is:

        3. Choose how you want to network your IPassan system.Use the article below if you're not sure which network to use:

        The IPassan software can either be running on a local PC used to administer the system, or the PC used to administer the system can access the software at www.ipassan.com.
